Missing Painting Found...in A 'Stuart Little' Movie

Here's one for your 'Gotta Be Made Up' files.

A Hungarian art historian is watching 'Stuart Little' with his daughter. (You know, the mouse movie.)



He notices a painting over the hearth of the Little family's fireplace -- and realizes it's a treasure that's been missing since the Twenties.

Turns out that it was picked up by an assistant set designer in a shop -- for $500.

Now it's going on the auction block, for considerably more. Like hundreds of thousands of dollars more.
