Monday Stuff on the Way to Other Stuff: Daisy Maizy

I got a bunch of daisy plants for our front yard. They, plus the other plants, are doing well, thanks to the rain we got last week. The greens I planted are almost ready to eat -- the radishes are growing little bulbs.
I guess that means Spring is in full rush. Until the next snowstorm, that is.

President Trump fires FBI Director James Comey.  What's extra-fascinating about this article: Trump (or whoever released this news) not only says that both the Attorney General and the Deputy Attorney General recommended Comey be terminated -- their actual letters are included!

What Bernie Madoff does in jail. This is an oldie-but-goodie...I'm guessing his schedule isn't that much different now, sadly.

The dinosaur fossil so well preserved that it looks like a statue!

French onion salisbury steak.  (From Who Needs A Cape)

The one-eyed horse who ran in the Kentucky Derby.  He finished 14th...but what courage!

19 "Hey, Thanks...I guess" notes.  From Buzzfeed, who also gave us:

A bunch of Really Kind People.

Recent discoveries from early China, including treasure found in a river and some news on how ancient silk was woven.  (From Listverse)

Ten foods that re-grow in water. I'm going to try some of these!  (From Don't Waste the Crumbs)

Ten ideas that made millions of dollars...but not for their creators. Including Walter Hunt, inventor of the safety pin. He sold his patent for $400; the company who bought it made millions in royalties.  Edgar Allen Poe's famous poem, The Raven, made him only $9.  (From Listverse)

Asian-inspired coleslaw.  (From Thrifty Mom in Boise)

An entire roof that converts to solar panels?  Yes, thanks to Tesla.

Passive aggressive relationship tactics. It would be even funnier, if it didn't sting a little...

Really easy meals -- all with a cheese twist.  (From Betty Crocker) Like this one --

     Cheesy Potato Nugget Skillet

Instead of real tiles...Smart Tile? A how-to and some examples.  (From Apartment Therapy)

The best places to swim in every state.  (Though Colorado's choice isn't what I would have picked.)

"Oh that -- I see him all the time." Another interesting Bigfoot story (with photo) from BFRO.

Stupid Stephen King cameos -- usually in productions based on books by (you guessed it) Stephen King. (From Cracked)

Have a nice spring-y week.
