Hands up for anyone who thinks at least Perry and her fellow Spacey, Gayle King, actually PAID for this trip. (Highly doubtful that Jeff Bezos' fiancee paid, either, since it's his space capsule.) Since the program is looking for tourists with fat wallets, this was a brilliant publicity campaign. All girls -- and cute ones, at that! As one commenter pointed out, "All they did was just take a ride and scream like little girls when they reached weightlessness."
They probably tried to get Oprah to go, but failed. (Gayle King, Oprah's friend, was a good stand-in.) Should have stuffed Hillary Clinton and Kamala Harris in there, too. And what about the women on The View? No doubt they're angry about being excluded. (I know -- cynical and rude. Apologies, I guess.)
