Another Great One Is Gone: Scott Adams

The creator of Dilbert has died, not long after his family announced he was in hospice care. He was 68.

Adams was an engineer, as well as a cartoonist...something which probably endeared me to his quirky, often sarcastic strip. Dilbert is surrounded by a crowd of misfits, including a pointy-haired boss, his lazy friend Wally -- and Dogbert, who persists on ordering his bemused master around.

I loved them all..or at least found them amusing. Adams has battled cancer for some time... at least now he's at rest.

We will miss you.

P.S. For a different look at Adams' viewpoint, read his pseudo-autobiography, How to Fail at Everything and Still Win. It starts slow...but ends up fascinating.
