I got my wish -- a real live blizzard. Only I'd wanted it on a weekend we weren't supposed to go somewhere!
It should ease up enough on Sunday so we can shovel our way out. Monday afternoon (Feb. 5), I'll be speaking at the League of Northern Colorado Quilters in Fort Collins. Gina Kleppinger, a friend and fellow appraiser, and I will be on a panel to talk about appraising -- and why it's important to protect your collection this way. (Ask the many Colorado quilters and collectors who've had to deal with forest fires in recent years.)
