...and getting the Brick out the door, lunch in hand. This early schedule wears on late-night people like me. I can do it -- but really, things do not start to click mentally until 10 a.m. or so.
It's been raining regularly for the past five days. We love it -- we always can use rain around this 'high country desert.' But it's played havoc on the potato harvest. The Brick will leave, then come back an hour or so later. The fields were too wet to work.
Which means we got up early for basically no reason. On the plus side, though, the Brick showed up last time with a huge bag of potatoes. (They were delicious.)

A visitor to New Jersey's streets -- a shark!
A 1919 'long-lost' silent flick turns up -- in an antique store in Japan. Go figure.

The Tylenol murders in Chicago decades ago may finally be solved. I remember these clearly -- people in Michigan were terrified.
A HUGE Viking period fortune found.
A Deutscher WWII motorcycle found in the Danube. Plus the soldiers that rode it.
Have a good week.
