His trailer, filled with not only his quilts, but customers' pieces, was stolen earlier this week from Wallen's hotel in Houston, TX. He also lost a bunch of merchandise meant for Quilter's Apothecary's booth at the International Quilt Festival. (He'd been there for Market, as well.)
One of my teaching colleagues wrote this morning that the trailer had been found -- "empty and trashed."
I can't find any comments directly from Jamie to confirm this. Do continue to be watchful, for his sake. I'll update when I hear any news.

Also, today is the anniversary of Guy Fawkes Day! He was the man who tried to blow up Parliament in 1605...and was caught. (He was trying to restore a Catholic to the English throne.) His Gunpowder Plot is commemorated in England with a dummy incinerated in a huge bonfire. (Kids patrol the streets, begging for money for "the Guy.")
Here's the famous ballad:
Remember, remember the Fifth of November,
The Gunpowder Treason and Plot,
I know of no reason
Why the Gunpowder Treason
Should ever be forgot.
Guy Fawkes, Guy Fawkes, ’twas his intent
To blow up the King and Parli’ment.
Three-score barrels of powder below
To prove old England’s overthrow;
By God’s mercy he was catch’d
With a dark lantern and burning match.
Hulloa boys, Hulloa boys, let the bells ring.
Hulloa boys, hulloa boys, God save the King!
