Monday Stuff On the Way to Other Stuff: Rounding Third, Trudging For Home

Do we have a life?  Naaah.

We both spend hours peering at computer screens, trying to finish off this book. (I know -- you're tired of hearing about it. I'm tired of talking about it. Gripe moan complain.) My editor has been a champ about it being (a little) late. He's checking the photos the Brick sent in earlier, so I know which ones are good enough to use for... well, you know.

When this is done, I plan to take a walk. Bake some banana bread. Move some plants around in our friend's perennial garden. Work on some quilt restorations. Watch a movie or two...and read a book.

Anything but stare at the computer for hours on end. I mean it.

What life will be like without a police force. At least according to Black Lives Matter activists.
No problem, BLM -- we're going to see soon if this works in Minneapolis. No doubt their resounding success will spread all over the country. Or maybe this approach would work better.

Defunding the police -- other cities are hopping on the bandwagon.
One commenter wrote 'De-fund Congress.' Now that one, I might go for!

Five ways to deal with ugly fabrics -- plus a free scrappy quilt pattern:

Underwater drones are systematically looking for treasure. At least they don't have to look for Fenn's treasure anymore -- it's been found.

Have a good week. Get lots of stuff done. Or maybe not.
