My brother really used duct tape to repair a flat tire. Half of the rubber blew off while driving on the way to a dance recital performance. He was to set up the sound and video equipment that was packed in his truck - no equipment means no show and that makes many unhappy little girls. He taped the chunk of rubber back on the tire with duct tape and hobbled to the auditorium. He sent a picture of his tire with the caption: the show must go on!
