I'm sure some people lead exciting lives -- out there somewhere. But not here. We're watching a friend's house while they're on vacation, finishing up several jobs (including appraisal reports), cleaning out and tidying up, helping out during church -- and in the Brick's case, adding a rubber bottom to the garage doors. We don't get a lot of rain, but when it does, it gushes -- and the garage has flooded before.
It's the end of a very hot, dry August...what else would I expect, I guess. On the plus side, it's cool enough in the evenings to sit out back and enjoy the sunset. That's nice.
