At Least We Have This...

CNN published this interview back in November 2020:

'President Donald Trump said for the first time Thursday [11/26] he will leave office if the Electoral College votes for President-elect Joe Biden but made clear he's not prepared to concede.

"Certainly I will, and you know that," Trump said when asked by a reporter about leaving the White House if Biden is declared the winner on December 14. "I will and, you know that."'
"It's going to be a very hard thing to concede because we know there was massive fraud," Trump said without evidence.'

Nice parting thrust, CNN... at any rate, there you have it. Now if he'd only been more clear in recent speeches -- or not given them at all. Sigh...

Update:  He's back on Twitter (oh goody) but reinforcing that he didn't condone the Capitol mob's actions, they'll be punished etc etc -- and he'll leave office peacefully  Click on the link to get to the three-minute speech he tweeted: "My focus now turns to ensuring a smooth, orderly and seamless transition of power."

(And if you're still concerned, there's this too.)
