Congratulations, Nancy Pelosi!

You were reelected as Speaker of the House by a vote of 216.

Wow. Good for you.

Perhaps you might take a gander at the fact that your Republican opponent got 209 votes.

And two people voted for others.

And three people abstained.

Hmmm...214 votes that weren't cast for you. And you won by a majority of  seven whole votes. (One news source said eight. Or just two, if you're counting the others.)

Whaddya think -- could that mean that perhaps you should take a cold hard look at your current way of operating? Could you do it in a way that invited more cooperation...and maybe, just maybe, some positive moving-forward results for the people you were elected to represent?

(In fact, I wouldn't mind if every single member of Congress did the same thing. No more just focusing on side issues, or fussing about masks. If we have to wear them, you have to wear them.)

Now get out there and get to work. No more political games.

Please.
