Monday (er, Sunday) Stuff on the Way to Other Stuff: It's the Superbowl! (Big Deal)

 Another interesting week.

This past one was pretty busy -- appraisals, a Hunting Lunch with friends, High Tea at the Brown Palace Hotel (report coming soon), errands, a movie/going out to eat -- and singing for church today. Yep, we Bricks pack everything into seven days, instead of spreading it all out.

Back to a calmer week ahead, with more appraisals and a quiet supper for Valentine's Day. We're supposed to get another storm Tuesday-Wednesday; whether it's a skiff of an inch or so, or a real gullywhomper, is still up for debate.

We may or may not watch the Superbowl. Yes, the Brick and I both love football -- but we do not find the political shenanigans of the NFL worth supporting. (College ball for us... Michigan's Wolverines and Colorado's Buffs.) I find it intriguing (and funny) that Sirius has a channel devoted to the event, but is advertising recipes, as well as game coverage!
Update:  The Chiefs won, in a nailbiter finish. It was close: 38-35. Considering the flurry of Chiefs jerseys I saw Sunday -- including our Pastor Larry -- they're thrilled!

A Really Wonderful movie from 2021 surprised the heck out of us. If you enjoy a modern cowboy movie with some moving relationships, try "Cry Macho." Clint Eastwood did an understated, brilliant performance.
