Think About It...

Hi, Cindy -
I've been lurking in the blogosphere shadows and don't comment much at all. Just enjoy reading the goings on of other people brave enough to share their life and thoughts.

I found you online a few years ago when you were still in Castle Rock, CO, and should have reached out then.... because I found a truly beautiful old quilt (hand stitched and all) at ARC Resale and wanted to know a little bit about it.

Since your bio stated you were from Sparta, MI, I felt a kinship, too, because I'm from Stanton, MI. We could be related!! ;o) There are a few people I knew that were from Sparta - met them at Gitche Gumee Bible Camp in Eagle River, MI.

I'm currently renting a room in Littleton, CO, as my retirement looms early next year, and look forward to doing some serious quilting from an enormous and lovely stash. Will be headquartered in Westcliffe, CO. Are you living anywhere close to Westcliffe?

May your time(s) spent in Michigan attending to your mother be a blessing to her and those who see your loving care for her.

Nadine, thank you. This was a lovely unexpected birthday present. (Yes, my birthday is today, Sept. 22.)

We are living in Sedalia -- quite a ways from Westcliffe. But Colorado is an accessible state. Who knows -- we may well run into each other!

Thanks for writing...and hanging out with me.

Happy Birthday, Cindy! Always celebrate well and often because each birthday is truly a milestone.

Well, Sedalia is a little skip and a hop from Littleton and I have some friends who live in Sedalia on Woods Rd. Until last year we had a home in Roxborough Village which is just over the hill from Sedalia. And it's totally on the way to Westcliffe!

Have a beautiful day!
