Dog Gone

Our granddog Karma died this morning.

She was Daughter #2's and Son #1's 'baby.' A much-loved part of their lives for a decade...and ours, too.

Rest in peace, Sweet Puppy.

Oh, Cindy. I am so sorry. Our pets become our babies and love us unconditionally. It rips your heart out when they are gone. Oh my.

Thank you, Jeannie. I know how you feel about your Buddy Scooter... The kids were on a vacation to see his 92-year-old grandmother...and knew Karma was fading. We encouraged them to go, anyways -- K had spent many times at our place, and we could make her comfortable. I was hoping she would make it until the kids got home tonight...but alas. She was a Good Dog, and will be missed. Thanks much for writing.
