And You Thought Other Issues Were More Critical...

Maybe ask them...

***********
Just had a huge rain/hailstorm this afternoon. The hail was tiny, but plentiful. It banged so hard against the sides and roof of the fifth-wheel, I had to shout to make myself heard! We can always use the rain...but this was a tad scary, especially when the wind started pushing against us, as well. Lightning strikes not too far away, either; a few have actually shaken the trailer. (Ruby the dog is NOT a fan. Me neither, for that matter.)
The rain is still tapping away. (Thank God for a new sturdy roof.) The clouds are slowly moving on. And we got MOISTURE. Update: And they're back -- we've had steady rain for hours, which is almost unheard-of in Colorado. Floods and flood warnings all over in the Front Range, and even into the Western Slope. Go here for more.
I'm glad we're up on a hill. Our friends' house is not -- but they've had a watertight basement, so far.
