When we lived in the city, my small sons loved watching the trashmen smash the garbage. The men would save the trash to crush it when the stopped in front our house. One day we were leaving for the store and after I strapped the 5 and 3 year old into their car seats, I hurried inside to pick up the baby. When I stepped back out (seconds later) both boys were gone from the car. I panicked and rushed around the corner of the house toward the road to see the trashman walking them back down the driveway. They had heard the truck, unbuckled their seatbelts, and ran to the street to watch the truck. The man had realized they didn't belong beside the busy highway and was bringing them back to me. He was a guardian angel.
