First snow of the season in Colorado yesterday, 9/11 -- reported in several areas, including Long's Peak, Pike's Peak and Rocky Mountain National Park. (I don't know about the Sangre de Cristo range, but wouldn't be surprised.)
Trail Ridge Road was closed. (It's open again now.)

Just a touch early... even for us. Is this a warning for what's coming?
