Which is nice.
Another interesting thing happened today: a long rain/hailstorm that left more than an inch of pellets on our porch. Fortunately, we don't seem to have had much damage -- one of the benefits of a metal roof. Our garden is on downhill status, anyways.
I checked with a gardening friend on the Flats, and they didn't get any hail -- or rain, for that matter. Not a drop. Go figure.

The unusual high rain falls and weird weather anomalies are probably being caused by the Hunga Tonga volcanic eruption January 15th 2022. In one day, it blasted 15% more water into the atmosphere. The extra water has been circling the southern hemisphere and has now reached the north causing all sorts of changes. It's a shame though that all that water can't find its way to my garden.
