North Carolina beat Gonzaga 71-65 for the NCAA College Basketball Championship.
Neither team played spectacularly -- NC missed an awful lot of three-pointers, and didn't seem to wake up for defense and rebounds until the second half. Gonzaga had its share of missed baskets, too.
But NC still won.
I should mention here that although our hearts still belong to the University of Michigan (Go Blue), the Brick grew up in Jacksonville, NC -- which makes it easy to root for the Rams.
(When the Brick gets "tarred" or goes hunting, his "Suthern" accent magically reappears. Which I find very amusing.)
Go, Carolina Blue!
How 'bout them Carolina boys...
