A Blizzard In June???

Jingle bells, jingle bells...

Kevin and Ruth, traveling up north in their RV, had snow yesterday near Yellowstone -- "at one point, it was like driving in a blizzard."

Kevin and Ruth Read photo, June 30... whoa!

We've had snow fall on us during the Fourth of July, at Rainbow Lakes up in the mountains here in Colorado.

Another Kevin and Ruth Read photo. Yes, this was taken in late June.
Trail Ridge Road, up in Rocky Mountain National Park, has similar snowbanks right now --
 only they're probably higher.

And I lost a beautiful garden full of tomatoes, frozen under a carpet of snow on Aug. 1st one year.
In Castle Rock. Yes, in Colorado.

The Wyoming landscape. Yet another Kevin and Ruth Read shot -- brrrr.
(yes, I asked permission to use these. The Reads are kind like that.)

TravelwithKevinandRuth.com is one of my favorite blogs -- this Canadian couple travels full-time in their RV, 'Sherman.' They spent the winter and spring in Mexico, and have been wandering around the U.S. since then. They'll be headed to Europe in the fall -- and planning to buy an RV there soon.

I almost wish we had snow right now -- it's been sooo hot and windy. Instead, we have to make do with the occasional hailstorm.

Sigh.  Shades of Hoover.
