And no, I don't know what happened. Apparently the truth finally came out -- because the Facebook profile shows no sign of the fiance.
So much for honesty in marriage.
P.S. The original post was revised -- I was bordering (or tipping over) into rudeness, just to show how clever I was. Shame on me. It's fixed now.
