...which drives the Brick, an authentic "Christmas starts Dec. 24" crazy.
Ah well. He's not the one writing this blog! It's been fun looking at the Christmas lights (which he enjoys) and decorations.all over town. I spent quite a while happily wandering through the local La Comer grocery 'store's wreaths, ornaments and such' aisles. We had a couple of cappuccinos before at their coffee shop, which helped matters some -- and gave the Brick a chance to check his e-mail.
P.S. We are cozy in our room at the Casa Pavlova in Puerto Vallarta. Wonderful smells float up now and then -- we're on the floor above an upscale cake bakery! Unfortunately, those same people yell a lot and bang pans, particularly in the kitchen -- which is right above our bathroom. (And yes, the sound filters through.) They start about 7:30 a.m. and continue til 9:00 p.m. or so. What a long schedule. But the cake is good!
