Another Great One is Gone

 Queen Elizabeth died today. 

She was 96, and reigned in England 70 years.

For more, read here.  She had not been in good health this summer, and died at Balmoral, her Scottish estate -- which she loved, like her ancestor, Queen Victoria. More here, too.

This American upstart may not have agreed with the monarchy -- but admired Her Highness for her kindness and grace under pressure.
