Brother and I had it down to a science, especially for bathroom breaks. It's amazing how quickly you can do your 'business' if you've got two minutes to do it in.
Then again, we only had a television when Grandma went to Florida for the winter. This was the case for us until after fourth grade -- televisions were expensive. And this was black & white -- I didn't see a color tv regularly until men walked on the moon.
