The Brick is starting to feel better. He did some tooling around the hallways, gown flapping modestly under a robe. (No free shows from this guy.)
Pudding, ice cream and other delights -- after subsisting on clear liquids and jello for days.
And he got to participate in one of mankind's greatest joys: passing gas. That proves that everything digestive is working. (Note that I said mankind, NOT womankind.)
We're hoping he can be released from the hospital this afternoon. Prayers welcomed.
Meanwhile, I just finished the second edit of Ghosts & Legends From Colorado's Front Range. I hope the 'other' Cindy Brick is happy about that! The book is slated to come out the first week of October.
And I have a bunch of work to catch up on that was put off when the Brick went into the hospital. On with that. But some sleep first. (It's 4:30 a.m.) Then back to the hospital.
Meanwhile, to keep you entertained:
Just what Charley would do.
You bet, Mom! |
