Ran errands part of the day, sold some stuff, returned some stuff...and ended up taking a nap. I seem to be fighting off something.
The concrete guys have been grinding away downstairs. They finished the floor prep a couple of days early! Now for pouring the overlay.
I'm not big on vodka...but the sleep sounds wonderful.

I hear you sister. Our carpet install was done in 1 day but all we managed before total exhaustion set on last night was one of us getting takeout and the other one making up the bed. Today we move the rest of the furniture and put the house back together. I had one cider last night but could barely drink it as I was so tired.
I understand. I've forgotten what it's like NOT to be tired. Fortunately, the guys working for us seem to have noticed this -- and the one running the show (Drew) does what he can to try to encourage me. Which is sweet of him.
We've got just a few more days, and the house will be emptied. Then we are officially booted out of our house -- and the painting and floor refinishing begins. (The concrete guys have already started; hopefully will finish this weekend.) The holiday will mess a bit with things, but we still have two weeks -- and really three -- before the house will officially be on the market.
So NOW maybe you can rest a bit! Thanks for writing.
