Two people, diametrically opposed to each other, debating important questions for our country. All sorts of issues come up, along with appeals, arguments, stated 'facts' (and not) -- all done with passion and feeling for their favorite causes. And their running mates.
And in the other corner:
A sizable chunk of the population, poking each other and giggling like two-year-olds: "Look -- there's a fly on his head!"
Thass' America, all right.
I don't know whether to laugh -- or cry. Maybe both.
