Sachiko Chiba just won a 'Best Traditional Quilt' prize for her quilt, Flower News, at a Birmingham, England quilt show. Look at how effectively she uses a variegated background to emphasize the areas she wants you to look most at. Incredible. Congratulations, Sachiko!
