Guess What It's Doing Here?

And this is in bone-dry Colorado. It seems so strange to hear pattering steadily on the roof and windows, hour after hour after hour. Actually, we've been lucky. Other areas have had hail, including nearby Castle Rock. I was at the library there yesterday for a meeting with appraisal clients -- and we ended up spending 30 min. in the hallway with other patrons, just standing around. (Tornado warning)

We're supposed to have "monsoon" weather continue for the next few days. The Brick thinks we'll be getting roughly 1/8 -- or more -- or our annual rainfall, just in the next few days.

Update:  As of Friday night, we've gotten at least 5 inches of rain these past few days. Our annual rainfall in this area is somewhere between 17.4 - 19 inches. (Some sources say 13-14 inches.)

So...that's a LOT. More on the way, too.
